In May 2005 23.8 mln people visited Yahoo! News, 11.3 mln read New York Times

21% of those Web users now primarily use online versions of newspapers, while 72% still read print editions. The remaining 7% split their time between online and offline editions, Nielsen//NetRatings says.

The remaining 7% split their time between online and offline editions, Nielsen//NetRatings says. NYTimes.com had an audience of 11.3 mln in May 2005, up 25% from May 2004. USATODAY.com had an audience of 9.2 mln in May 2005, up 15%. WashingtonPost.com audience in May 2005 grew 10% to 7.4 mln. In May 2005, Yahoo! News had an audience of 23.8 mln and the audience for Google News was 7.1 mln, respectively up 3% and 4% from May 2004.
