Infoseek searches UK Web sites
Infoseek has joined Yahoo! in releasing a version of its Internet search engine tailored for UK users.
The UK presence is due to a deal Infoseek inked with London Evening Standard and Daily Mail publisher Associated Newspapers, under the terms of which it will host site reviews and listings under the UK Plus banner. The free service will be touted in the publishing group's newspapers.
