Intel's Mooly Eden updated the company's ultrabook efforts at a press conference at CES 2012 on Monday.
Eden showed off the Nikiski concept device, which features a transparent touchpad, coupled with the Windows 8 Metro user interface.
During his presentation, Eden said over 75 ultrabook designs are in the works for 2012. The prototypes will be in a range of shapes and display sizes, including 14- and 15-inch screens.
