Intuit says WebTV buy is MS's leg up to digital TV
Intuit chairman Scott Cook said today Microsoft's decision to purchase WebTV Networks could be the Redmond, Washington giant's portal to a larger impact on digital television.
"Microsoft wants to write the operating system for digital TV," Cook said today in a visit to London. "My bet is that they're seeking the credentials to build that."
