Iomega is amping up its move to SuperSpeed USB 3.0 portable hard drives with the announcement that consumers can still expect good old USB 2.0 prices.
Each eGo 2.5-inch HDD includes AES 256-bit hardware encryption, and users can expect transfer rates up to 5Gbps.
The Prestige Compact series will follow suit early next year, with USB 3.0 eventually making its way to all Iomega portable HDD models.
