Apple has released iOS 4.3.3 (version 4.2.8 for CDMA handsets), and update which, as promised, brings an end to the 'Locationgate' saga.

This update does three specific things:

• Reduces the size of the cache
• No longer backs the cache up to iTunes
• Deletes the cache entirely when Location Services is turned off

 This update is for the following handsets:

• iPhone 4
• iPhone 3GS
• iPad 2
• iPad
• iPod touch (3rd and 4th gen)

If you're an iPhone 3G owner, you're outta luck ... no update for you unfortunatly.
