While tomorrow is the big day for everyone outside of the US planning to get an iPad, some lucky Brits have already received their shiny tablet computers.
May 28 has long been scheduled as the official launch date for the iPad outside of the 50 states. But according to Engadget, reports have poured in from the United Kingdom some early arrivals. The flurry around the sooner-than-expected shipments is reminiscent of when the Harry Potter books were still being released.
It's highly unlikely that this is due to any special preference to UK customers, and rather just some kind of shipping and handling mystery. Either way, residents in the rest of the countries included in the first international release wave only have to wait less than 24 hours now.
