Are utility hackers the new new security threat? Al Qaeda shutting off power to Manhattan in the middle of a tradin day on Wall Street? Some folks are now questioning the ability of any electrical system to withstand hacking.
Here's one look at the cut cables in the Silicon Valley. It was apparently a co-ordinated sabotage of Silicon Valley's fiber network. The lines were cut in four places, and a person or persons had to climb down into manholes to make the cuts. Rewards are posted but no arrests so far.
