Jeff Hunter named AP manager, HP Delivery Solutions

HP Delivery Solutions has appointed Jeff Hunter as regional manager, Asia Pacific.

Jeff Hunter 15 April 2001 - HP Delivery Solutions has appointed Jeff Hunter as regional manager, Asia Pacific. Hunter joined the company (then known as Dazel Pty Ltd) as national sales manager for Australia and New Zealand in 1998. In 2000 he was promoted to the role of country manager, Australia and New Zealand.

Born in Ireland, Jeff completed his schooling and a law degree in 1979. His first moves in the IT industry were with Rank Xerox and later, Olivetti. In 1986 he moved to Australia and took a sales role at Unisys.

In 1990, while at Pyramid Technology, Jeff began working with COSMOS, one of the first available system management software packages designed for the Unix server environment. Shortly afterwards, Jeff established his own company, Open Systems Software, distributing this software. In 1994 he became the first Australian distributor for Patrol, working closely with BMC Software. In 1996, Jeff sold Open Systems Software to New Zealand distributor, Open Technology.
