Networking company Juniper Networks has today announced the appointment of a new vice president for Australia and New Zealand.

Networking company Juniper Networks today announced the appointment of a new vice president for Australia and New Zealand.

Mark Iles is set to head up the company's Australia/New Zealand operations, replacing Shaun Page who moved to the US to continue his work with the company.

Iles has been appointed to the role following five years as Australia/New Zealand CEO of Centaman Systems and has also held roles within Vodafone and Microsoft Australia.

Iles said today he is looking forward to the role.

"This is a great time to be taking up the reins in Australia and New Zealand, and I look forward to helping provide even greater support and competitive advantage to Juniper's customers," he said in a statement.

John Morris, executive vice president of Worldwide Sales for Juniper, said that Iles' experience has given him an intimate understanding of the Australia/New Zealand marketplace.

"Mark will bring a customer service-led approach, which will continue to extend Juniper's leadership position in the marketplace," he said.
