Well, the composer of that ditty would be hard-pressed to describe the E-Bikeboard and its kin from Swissbikeboard. These are ultimate transformers, with attachments that let you use them on land, snow or surf, depending on the model. The company pitches them as alternative transportation for those who need to get around a city outside of walking range but who don't want to use the gas.

The E-Bikeboard S500 is, essentially, a scooter for indoor or outdoor use that features a semi-integrated alloy frame and a fiberglass platform (which folds up for carrying). It runs off lithium batteries and can go for up to 15 miles on a charge. It goes double that distance using two batteries, at speeds up to 15 miles per hour. The recharge time is four hours, and the maximum load is 330 pounds. Here are all the specs.

All this coolness comes at a cost: The E-Bikeboard is priced at $2,498.
