Justice Dept. bill includes more access for state and local govts

State and local governments will get direct access to more Justice Dept. data if the House Judiciary Committee has its way. The Justice authorization bill that the committee approved includes a provision requiring the FBI to upgrade the “accuracy, quality, timeliness, immediate accessibility and integration of state criminal history and related records,
