Online travel agent lastminute.com has posted results for the April to June quarter and it has more than doubled sales compared to the same period last year. Lastminute managed sales of £61m, up from just £29m. Over the same period it halved losses from £9.3m to £4m. The number of subscribers to its weekly email also increased 60 per cent to 5.6 million.
