HP isn't the only one with some well-designed exteriors on their portable computers. Lenovo's IdeaPad Y460 notebook, with an interesting geometrical sketch overlay of its own, is officially on sale today with two sets of specs to choose from.

First announced at CES 2010, the IdeaPad Y460 has been posted to Lenovo 's online store and is promised to shipped within 13 days of purchase.

But as mentioned, there are two possible buying choices. Option 1 starts at $999 for a notebook with an Intel Core i3-330M 2.13GHz processor, a 320GB hard drive and Intel graphics.

The second option costs $1,199, and the extra cash might be worth. This edition has an Intel Core i5-520M 2.4GHz processor, a 500GB HDD and ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5650 graphics.

Both models host Windows 7 Home Premium, 14-inch HD LED-backlit display (1366 x 768 resolution), 4GB of DDR3 memory, a dual-layer DVD recordable drive, a 6-cell battery and Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR.

Which would you pick?
