There are finally some more details available about the LG Ally smartphone than just some Iron Man 2 promotion stuff, namely a price, specs and a pre-order date that is tomorrow.
Up until now, the most we've known about the LG Ally is that it has a 3.2-inch touchscreen, a slide-out keyboard, a microSD slot (up to 16GB) and a camera with flash. Oh, and that it's a favorite of Iron Man. Here's what else has been confirmed:
Starting May 13th, eager buyers will be able to pre-order the LG Ally at Verizon's online store. Those who wish to wait can pick one up in-store from May 20th onward. The price point is $99.99 after the $100 rebate (in the form of a mailed debit card, not cash or check) when purchased with a two-year contract. Verizon's monthly talk plans start at $39.99, with the smartphone data plans starting at $29.99 on top of that.
