Like Steve Jobs, Mark Zuckerberg gets his own action figure

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg is following in Apple CEO Steve Jobs' footsteps, at least when it comes to the action figure world.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg has received his own limited edition action figure. Chinese company M.I.C. Gadget is selling the lifelike Zuckerberg doll for $70 on its website, with the following description:

Presenting the most friendly toy we have ever seen: the "Poking Inventor" action figure that is inspired from a man who makes the world more open and connected. The workmanship standard of this collection item is superb, and it is the next greatest action figure for tech nerds.

Notice that the company is calling the action figure the "Poking Inventor" and not "Mark Zuckerberg." This is because of what happened with the previous doll, the Steve Jobs action figure. The company clearly learned its lesson with the new CEO doll and named it after the fact that Facebook allows its users to poke each other.

Released late last year, the Steve Jobs action figure sported his signature blue jeans, black turtleneck sweater, and New Balance sneakers. Apple threatened M.I.C. Gadget with legal action if it didn't stop selling the Jobs doll. It was quickly removed from the company's online store.

The Poking Inventor doll has been molded with Zuckerberg's signature shaggy hair, blue jeans, Adidas flip-flops, and his iconic zip-up brown hooded sweatshirt. The 7-inch toy also comes with two buttons and three speech bubbles: you can set the action figure to hold either a Like or Poke button as well as fill in the speech bubble with amusing quotes such as "I invented poking!" to put beside his head with the included transparent stick.
