Logitech plans to light up some desks with the new K800 wireless illuminated keyboard, complete automatic ambient light.
Starting off with the cord-free aspect, the K800 supports 2.4GHz wireless connectivity. For keeping the latest Logitech keyboard powered up, the K800 connects via microUSB to recharge the internal batteries. Keep in mind that this peripheral is only compatible with Windows 7, Vista and XP, and you'll need Internet access to download the initial software associated with this specific keyboard.
Along with curved keys with a concave design, illumination is the most notable style aspect on the K800. Thanks to the built-in motion sensors, the K800 can determine when hands move towards and away from the keyboard to adjust the backlighting on and off. With this touch of greenness, users can squeeze out up to 10 days of battery life per charge.
The Logitech K800 will be released this month for $99.99, which includes a 3-year limited warranty.
