Lord Archer has done serious damage to the standing of the Tory party and the trustworthiness of politicians but only now can his damage to the new economy be revealed. A plucky UK start-up began offering an online politics game just before the election. It offers the chance to lie and cheat your way to the top of the political ladder and over 1,000 people are playing, and lying every day. Unfortunately the game has been blown out of the water by the sheer scale of Archer's duplicity. Jamie Driscoll, managing director of floppidog.com, makers of the game, said: "We wanted the game to be believable. We never imagined such a catalogue of corruption would be possible." A spokesman for the company said: "We are adding some extra features onto the site soon including room for more corruption and possibly even perjury." The game is hosted here: http://www.honourablemember.co.uk
