Lupin Software recently updated its Let'er RIP PostScript download utility and server. Version 2.7 offers improved performance and supports automatic processing of files, the company said.

The free upgrade to the $239 server software can process pages up to tabloid size, Lupin said. Users can also set the server to scale, center, or rotate pages and place files automatically.

In addition, Version 2.7 is more robust and can handle PostScript files with up to five levels of recursion, the company said. The update now searches for missing fonts in a user-specified folder or all mounted volumes, including CD-ROMs. It is also compatible with Luminous Corp.'s OPEN extensions to PostScript.
