With another month checked off, it's time to trawl through the NetMarketShare data for January to see who are the winners and who are the losers.
There's been a bit of movements in terms of browsers - IE and Firefox re down fraction of a percent, while Chrome and Safari are up a fraction of a percentage point. Nothing spectacular there.
But when it comes to operating systems, there's something interesting. During April, Apple increased its market share for all four major platforms it produces - Mac OS, iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, ad for three of those platforms, Mac OS, iPhone and iPad, saw record a record increase in global usage share.
iOS is making some huge gains. These gains are no doubt driven by the iPad 2 and the Verizon iPhone 4.
