Mac users meet Mac OS X in Paris

PARIS -- Apple Computer Inc. (aapl) CEO Steve Jobs didn't disappoint Macintosh fans at the opening day of Apple Expo here, delivering the public beta version of the long-awaited Mac OS X as well as two new iBook laptops. While Mac users here greeted the new OS with enthusiasm, many said they are still waiting to find out how the upgrade process will affect the systems in which they have already invested.
