Makin' bacon needs greening

Something stinks. And in parts of Iowa the locals can tell you exactly what it is. It's the huge concentration camps of hogs on their way to American dinner tables. Forget "Babe" or "Charlotte's Web," this is big time pork making. And this concentration of hogs makes for a concentration of hog manure and its usual reek.

So isn't this a VC investment just waiting to happen? Can't all that "organic matter" be turned into biofuel? Or unnatural gas or fertilizer or something? Can't we serve the Iowan inhaling species and make some money turning those manure mounds into something useful?
