Meridian has announced its new M80 entertainment center, which boasts a compact frame but a very, very large price tag.
The M80 has all the standard features of a home entertainment center: a CD/DVD player, an FM/AM Radio, an iPod dock, digital/analog inputs and a 2.1 DSP loudspeaker system to fill the room with beautiful music.
Connectivity is a bit lacking on this curved system, however, with USB and mini-DIN support. No HDMI, strangely.
Available in three shades (chestnut, ivory and black) in a leather finish, the kicker is this thing will cost buyers $2,995 a pop. It's not evident what about the M80 really justifies that hefty price.
