Following its lawsuit against online swap software maker Napster, heavy-metal band Metallica was targeted by cybervandals for a time Friday morning. The unknown vandals left a simple message: "LEAVE NAPSTER ALONE." Aside from two links -- one to Napster and another to the main page of the official Metallica site -- no other message, on the page or in the source code, was posted. Napster is being sued by Metallica for copyright infringement because its software is widely used to let students and others swap digital music. -- Robert Lemos, ZDNet News
