Microsoft seeks Skype for iPhone users for new pre-release program

Microsoft is seeking participants for a new, limited pre-release program for Skype on iOS.

Microsoft is seeking a limited set of "enthusiastic Skype users" to be part of a new pre-release program for Skype for iOS.

According to a January 14 blog post, those accepted into the new pre-release program will get access to early versions of Skype in exchange for their regular feedback. Those interested in applying must be 18 or older and have a valid email address and Skype or Microsoft Account. Those who agree to participate will be subject to non-disclosure agreements, it appears from the details page.

Microsoft announced the new pre-release program alongside a minor update to Skype for iPhone.Skype 5.9 for iPhone adds user interface improvements to the dial pad, along with a new chat picker to make conversation starting easier.
