CFO promises Seattle giant is still on track...
Microsoft's CFO, John Connors has reiterated that the software giant expects to meet its target of eight per cent growth this year. Speaking to at an investors' conference yesterday he said the company expects to achieve revenue of between $28.8bn and $29bn for the current fiscal year, which ends in June 2002. He said these figures are in line with the targets the company projected in mid July following its 2001 results. When the markets closed yesterday evening Microsoft's shares had risen nearly three per cent to $57.74 from $56.10.
