Mimobot, the company that makes all of those cutesy and Star Wars-themed USB drives, is celebrating its fifth birthday. And how better to celebrate than with a re-release of some of the original designs that made the business so popular?
The fantastic four original characters include a carnivorous-looking frog, a funky skeleton, a sweet purple swirl and a blue fairy. They sort of seem like twisted Sanrio (Hello Kitty) characters, but they're unique, nonetheless. They're certainly more interesting than a basic black USB thumb drive.
Speaking of Sanrio, we should be seeing USB drives in that genre from Mimobot later this summer along with a new collection to celebrate the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back.
The Mimobot Core Series is available now in 2GB, 4GB, 8GB and 16GB capacities, ranging from $24.95 to $79.95.
