miro skips S3 chip for first time
German multimedia specialist miro has confirmed the move to 3D and 4Mb RAM becoming the graphics entry-level with the release of the miroCRYSTAL VRX.
However, the £129 + VAT card also marks a change in direction away from S3 chips. For the first time, miro has forsaken S3 for an alternative controller, Rendition's Verite V1000L.
