B2B marketplace provider Mondus.com has announced it is to change its name to Mondus, because it does not want to be tarred with the 'fly-by-night' reputation of dot-com companies.

In a statement, Rouzbeh Pirouz, CEO of Mondus, said he was keen to disassociate his company from cynicism about dot-com businesses. The change of name will be underlined by a full redesign of the company's corporate image and website. Mondus also said the change enabled it to better cater for local markets in European countries, that would be confused by the dot-com moniker.
