It's been a few months since we've had a Motorola Droid release (at least domestically), but now the Droid X2 has been spotted.
The possibility of this smartphone launching (likely in Q2) with Froyo just feels wrong. Hopefully Motorola bumps that up to Gingerbread if it wants any shot at competing with every other handheld we've seen unveiled this year. It's also apparently a 3G-only device, which isn't the end of the world and might be reflected in a lower price tag.
