On paper, the Milestone looks like a solid smartphone. The 3G-enabled device hosts a 3.7-inch FWVGA touchscreen (854 x 480 resolution), and it runs on Android 2.1. Other must-know specs include:
- 720 MHz TI OMAP3440 processor
- 8GB microSD memory (Up to 32GB)
- Bluetooth v2.1 + EDR
- 802.11b/g Wi-Fi
- Built-in accelerometer
- Connectivity: USB 2.0, 3.5mm headphone jack, DLNA, mobile HDMI
The shining spot on this Motorola handheld is the 8-megapixel camera, which boasts a Xenon LED flash, 4x digital zoom, autofocus, an auto-timer, and several preset shooting modes. Plus, it records HD 720p video. Following the rebates, the Milestone XT720 is $199.99 with the signing of a new two-year service agreement.
