mSpot debuts mobile Movies for iPad application

There's yet another way to stream movies on your iPad now, with the latest release of mSpot's Movies app for Apple mobile devices today.

Last month, mSpot rolled out its initial Movies app for the iPhone last month, and while that one was iPad-compatible, this new app is dedicated specifically to the 9-inch Apple tablet. That brings mSpot's streaming coverage to the iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch, Macs, and PCs.

The newest mSpot Movies app will be available in iTunes starting today for free. Rentals will cost between $2.99-$3.99 per title, bringing it on par with latest releases up for renting in iTunes itself. It's not bad if you're only planning to rent once or twice per month (or not even monthly), and if Netflix doesn't have the title you want for streaming yet.

UPDATE: mSpot is really serious about competing with Netflix. Check out how serious by viewing the comparison video on YouTube.
