Barrie Sheers selected to lead Microsoft NZ as Paul Muckleston moves into a new role.
Microsoft has announced its next managing director in New Zealand will be Barrie Sheers, former vice president and general manager for Dell's software group in Asia Pacific and Japan.
He will succeed Paul Muckleston who has led the subsidiary since 2010.
Muckleston said he and Sheers will be working together on a planned and structured transition. Muckleston will be staying with Microsoft in a role yet to be announced.
Sheers will report to Cesar Cernuda, president of Microsoft Asia-Pacific.
