After reading Mark Shuttleworth's inspirational blog post on the future of Ubuntu Linux, I thought he would make a fantastic candidate as an inspirational MoverShaker speaker.

For a fleeting Mittyesque moment, I fancied myself as a Captain of Industry, in command of vast socio-economic engines, charting the very course of history. And then I realised I wasn't, and turned to thinking who are my inspirational heroes who are Captains of Industry?

Here are my top 3, in no particular order:

Mark Shuttleworth
Dries Buytaert - creator of the Drupal CMS
Jeffrey Zeldman The Godfather of Web Standards.

List your hashtag #heroes for @speakrs4schools and imagine what a difference it could make for ordinary school children to hear the future from the horse's mouth.
