NEC Australia has appointed a new managing director to help guide the company to future growth.
Tetsuro Akagi, the company's former chief planning officer, has been with NEC for about 30 years, drawing on experience in its sales, business planning, and management units.
"My vision is to make NEC Australia the leading group in NEC globally, with the most recognised portfolio of leading-edge ICT solutions and services. I am confident that we can achieve that goal in the mid-term by leveraging the enthusiasm and commitment of our talented pool of employees," Akagi said in a statement.
NEC's AU$227 million acquisition of CSG's Technology Solutions business has been instrumental in it scoring wins in the local market.
