Independent travel specialist Seaforths Travel's Ticket Window software now incorporates access to the Galileo Computer Reservations System used by over 10,000 travel agents globally and allows users to buy tickets without telephone or e-mail confirmation of the booking. Galileo covers 500 airlines, 30, 000 hotels and car hire.

"There are estimated to be 60 million users of the World Wide Web so we expect to attract a lot of customers new to the company," said Gary Hance, director of technology for the 102-staff firm. "The potential is almost unlimited."
