New clients boost Wireplay
BT has formally released new DOS and Windows 95 clients for download at its Wireplay online games network.
In beta testing since May, the clients make more games available, reduce latency and speed performance. The software works on Wireplay's multi-player APIs, IPX and Microsoft's DirectPlay 3.0 and higher. Other new features include larger chat windows and better search tools
In September, BT plans to up the ante with PPP-compatible Wireplay flavours.
