Despite the current global slump in care sales, Toyota expects to have a future. To that end there are reports in Japan that the car maker's planning a new hyrbid model that will sell for 20% less than the Prius. That would put the base price of this new Toyota at just over $20K.
Toyota's new hybrid would launch in 2011 to compete with the relaunched Insight from Honda.
