News Burst: Government pledges £30m to fighting digital divide
Pledges £30m to help get rural areas online
The government moves to combat the growing broadband crisis Tuesday, launching a report on the future of high-speed broadband Internet services and offering an extra £30m to deal with the urban/rural digital divide.
The moves are an attempt to breath new life into the disastrous auction of the broadband fixed-wireless spectrum.
