Linux acolytes will for the first time be able to experience the open source joys of Linux in Palm OS compatible format thanks to Korean company, OSK. The company has released a distribution of Linux called WindStone that ports to the Palm Pilot and works alongside the Palm OS.

Windstone is not currently commercially available and OSK has not yet issued the source code, although the company has promised to provide it under the GNU General Public Licence.
