News Burst: SIMalliance to put WAP in standard mobiles
You too could surf the Web and you won't even need a new phone!
An alliance to accelerate the growth of WAP services has been setup by four of the world's largest smart card manufacturers. Using established SIM technology the SIMalliance will push limited WAP browsing functionality over standard GSM handsets.
