With one foot in Derby and the other in the US, Nexsan Technologies is positioned to make inroads into the storage world with an approach that helps managers control the size of storage farms by increasing the amount of data that can be stored on disks of any size.

It is an approach that is attracting top clients who need to make the most of the available space they have, like the British Museum. Andy Hill, Nexsan's European sales director, tells ZDNet.co.uk's Colin Barker all about some of the green features of the device, which has the ability to slow spin speeds and reduce energy use by more than 50 percent.
