Nvidia reported its first quarter results early after a draft of the report was emailed to 100 people internally.

The company said it expects to report first quarter earnings of $136.5 million, or 24 cents a share, on revenue of $1.1 billion, up 16 percent from a year ago. Non-GAAP earnings for the quarter were 29 cents a share.
