Okta rounds out management team

The on-demand identity management company names a BMC vet to head sales and an HP ArcSight exec to run engineering.

Okta on Wednesday said it has added two enterprise technology executives to round out its sales and engineering efforts.

The company named Adam Arons senior vice president of worldwide sales for Okta. Arons was vice president of sales for BMC Software.

In addition, Okta named Hector Aguilar vice president of engineering. Aguilar was an executive at HP's ArcSight unit. Aguilar was CTO and vice president of software development at ArcSight.

The management moves come as Okta hits its first birthday. The company tripled its user base and has added customers including Nestle Purina, Pabst Brewing Company (yes, PBR), Jazz Pharmaceuticals and LegalZoom.

Okta provides single sign-on, self service and directory management tools as a service.
