I noticed a couple of days ago that Opera has very quietly released version 11.52. I've had it running for a couple of days now, and on the positive side, when you use Speed Dial it now scales the web pages correctly so the entire page shows in the speed dial button; on the slightly negative side, it seems to have cleared the browser cache when I installed it, without warning/telling me in advance. On the RANT side, they have done one of the things that I really hate - rather than presenting you with the clear choice of making Opera the default browser on installation, they have shifted that off to an "Options" page with a button at the bottom of the installation screen. Sure, you can make an argument that users should look at the Options on installation, but the simple fact is that 99% do NOT. Hiding an option of this significance in a place that will not be seen by default during installation is just plain deceptive.
