Opera has launched its own Mobile Store today, which will be accessible via "virtually any mobile platform and device" in over 200 countries.

The catch is those devices have to be running Java, Symbian, BlackBerry and Android operating systems. (Um, can you guess who is missing? At least for now...)

Anyway, the free and paid apps will be up for grabs using Opera Mini and Opera Mobile browsers. Each app is expected to have been tailored to open optimized for the phone's OS as well as the local currency and language.

And if you're a developer keen on creating some apps for this platform, there is the Opera Publisher Portal to get you started.
