Opera vulnerability lets hackers enter stage right

Security experts have found a hole in the Opera browser which could lead to a malicious hack attack. The vulnerability, which was discovered by an Israeli software company GreyMagic, affects Opera versions 6.01 and 6.02 for Windows. It could allow hacker to grab user's local files via a website. Researchers said the problem occurs when the browser tries to deal with form submission file transfers via HTTP. The hole could allow attacker to change the value to make it look like there are no files to be transferred. Users can remove the problem by downloading the 6.03 version.
