Optimism in Latin America about mobile devices

solutions in the region. During the CyberAmericas' conference held in
Santiago, Chile, some panelists predicted a gloom future for the PC and a
bright one for the mobile devices. Experts predict that 50 percent of
Internet access in the region will be wireless by 2003.
