Oracle pays US$46m to quell kickback heat

Oracle will pay US$46 million to settle allegations that subsidiary Sun Microsystems gave incomplete and inaccurate information to the US government during contract negotiations more than a decade ago, and that it paid kickbacks to technology partners such as Accenture to secure government contracts.
