OS Discrim on the path to Drupal Gardens

Tonight I was heartily looking forward to a webinar about the Drupal Gardens hosted web site building service, brought to us by Acquia and delivered by GoToMeeting® It's based on Drupal 7, and looks mighty fine, a very nice looking user interface with the power and portability of Drupal.But it was not to be…I was greeted by the ominous discriminatory phrase “To join the Webinar, please use one of the following supported operating systems”.

Tonight I was heartily looking forward to a webinar about the Drupal Gardens hosted web site building service, brought to us by Acquia and delivered by GoToMeeting® It's based on Drupal 7, and looks mighty fine, a very nice looking user interface with the power and portability of Drupal.

But it was not to be…

I was greeted by the ominous discriminatory phrase “To join the Webinar, please use one of the following supported operating systems”. Oh, what a surprise. Linux isn't one of the supported operating systems.

This is all the more incredible because the vast majority of Drupal installations are on Linux web servers.

GoToMeeting®? GoToHellMeeting® (unless you're using Windows or Mac) more like!
